Nexium 24HR 20mgesomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works to reduce acid levels in the stomach and esophagus. Directions
Take one tablet daily for 14 days, during which time you should feel the relief of a reduced stomach acid.
Warnings
Do not use Nexium 24HR 20mgesomeprazole as it may cause serious, temporary and permanent damage to your esophageal sphincter. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had serious symptoms of acid reflux, heartburn, stomach ulcers or other stomach problems.
This medicine may cause shortness of breath, wheezing or pain in your chest or throat, or a slow or irregular heartbeat. Do not use if you have severe abdominal pain, acid regurgitation, diarrhea, or any other digestive disorder.
